As you know, the first publication came in December 2015. Tanaka had announced that 14 babies were achieved in patients with azoospermia with round spermatids, which are considered to be behind the elongated spermatid, which is a back cell of the known mature sperm.
This publication was later repeated with a few corrections. He says that there are 90 babies as of now. He declares that he did not say 500 babies.
Apart from Tanaka, there are efforts to develop this method in the world. Maybe we think this 500 babies issue came out like that.
So why did we go?
However, this meant that many cells that we had developed with our treatment were wasted. In other words, if we cannot find sperm, we say that something can be done for our patients who have a chance in this regard with elongates, and if we cannot find it, with quality rounds.
On the other hand, we saw natural pregnancies with spermatids without sperm and our hopes were reinforced again.
In March 2017, in the seminar information I gave to the patient group, I both explained the rosi method developed by Tanaka and showed the projections of future studies on this subject.
Now let me briefly mention what I saw when I met Tanaka and what we need to do
We were very well hosted by our esteemed teacher Atsushi Tanaka at St.Mother’s hospital, which is a private obstetrics and gynaecology infertility hospital in Kitakyushu in the Fukuoka area of Japan. We went together with Mr. Gynaecologist Op.Dr.A Fatih Öğüç. Okan Güler, an old friend of mine who speaks Japanese and English, was also present with us.
They shared information about laboratory techniques and ROSI technique.
I would like to draw attention to some details.
They do not do hormonal treatment like me, etc. They work by searching for cells directly with micro-therapy, not with treatment.
They do not have any applications such as pre-tese risk prediction or follow-up system.
-Another point that I find interesting is that they perform the micro tese operation as an obstetrician.
-When I told about my natural exit successes and sharing, they were very surprised and asked me to give a seminar. They made some recommendations during this seminar.

-They see the Sertoli cell because they perform the procedures with tese. One thing I find interesting is that they believe that the Sertoli cell has a sacred duty. We cannot see it because we are looking for it with semen, it can only be detected in the tissue. Of course, the main stem cell, which we call spermatogonium, is also seen in this statement.
-In August, Acıbadem Yeşilköy will go again as a team. His words were very nice. Don’t send me patients from your hometown. I won’t leave you until I teach you well. It was very humane when he said, “Don’t worry.” He personally delivered the final version of his publication by hand.
It was admirable that the journal called -PNAS worked tirelessly despite the rejection of its own publication for three years. As a result, the flow of patients increased when the publication was accepted. He mentioned that they often exchanged ideas with my esteemed Timur Gürgan from Ankara.
