This condition, which is not related to the decrease in the number of sperms and causes a kind of sperm to stick and collapse due to autoantibodies, is present in some men and is actually a common infertility problem that is thought to be rare.
We call this picture, which we observe under the microscope by forming head to head, head to tail precipitation after a while, agglutination. If the period is prolonged and infertility is still not resolved clinically, some clinics have sought solutions with sperm washing techniques. We wanted to share with you our clinical experiences on this subject, since such patient applications have increased recently and artificial vaccination procedures using swim-up washing techniques and even in vitro fertilisation procedures have been unsuccessful despite unsuccessful results.
This treatment, which we summarise under the name of ionic water treatment, we first noticed after some autoimmune rheumatological cases developed coincidentally after pregnancies. So, how does this treatment work?
