Mr Ibrahim came to us as an azoospermic man with two unsuccessful micro TESE surgeries.
His pathology was Sertoli cell only syndrome, but in our detailed semen analysis, he had stem cells but the system appeared to be regressed.
Approximately six months later, spermatozoa were seen in the semen, but we decided to continue the treatment because these were poor quality outputs that could not be used. We did not put our patient into an empty endeavour such as in vitro fertilisation with an unnecessarily hasty attitude. I am writing these words deliberately! I am writing because we have witnessed many stories of patients whose lives have been played with words such as “good news when two or three amorphous, immotile sperms come out” etc. Those who understand what I mean have already understood what I mean. Unfortunately, we have had many couples who were deceived with promises such as “we made embryos with these cells” and “this is the embryo photo”. Of course, when the results of the pregnancy test are negative ten days later, we still often hear words like “we are very sorry, it didn’t work, it didn’t work…”.
We decided to continue the treatment for one and a half more years and when we saw that we had progressed in the target stem cell when the two years were up, we decided to look for a solution with TESE. Look, we are not against TESE, but against TESE, which is requested without question, without any research, without any treatment application. We are trying to change this understanding. We have never claimed that we treat 100 per cent in every case. We have presented our predictions and risk analyses on this subject in our previous articles. However, hearts and expectations cause misperceptions in the azoospermic family whose psychology is very disturbed. Unfortunately, some words that do not belong to you can be attributed to you.
Look what happened?
While we sent our patient for TESE, Mr İbrahim started to have normal output. With this miraculous development, the hospital took his wife to egg multiplication and retrieval treatment.
Look at the work of God! We could not find a solution to find eggs in his wife in two attempts. They stayed as my guests in Istanbul for two months in the house where my father used to live. Then we sent an egg support kit for a solution. His wife used it for three months and sent us her analyses every month. In the fourth month when we said “OK”, a single egg was obtained with egg induction. The egg was said to be of good quality, but what about Mr İbrahim? Thank God, that output was still continuing. Imagine, the treatment of the man reached the target, but it turned out that there was a deficiency in the woman. In vitro fertilisation was performed with a single egg by ICSI and pregnancy was achieved and after nine months, the family was reunited with their son.
We live in a world of secrets. All these troubles and the good news that comes with patience are always for Qurbiyyat. Our Lord brings us closer to Himself with the excuse of trials. That is why dervishes are called sacrifices. You know, Prophet Abraham asked his Lord for a son and said, “I will dedicate him to you,” and Allah, who tested his loyalty in his promise, tells all believers why do we think that He mentions in His book as an exemplary story to the servants who deserve the good news like a ram and are appreciated about those who ask only from their Lord with patience by clinging to Abraham’s Kurbiyyah and Ishmael’s Surrender?
When the Qur’an tells us to read, it means to read like a “story”. We live the Qur’an in our lives, but let us not live without realising it. Let us read, but let us not be horny. Let us be patient, thankful and not rebel. Let us ask for goodness and beauty and not act good and beautiful; there is no such thing. For this reason, when we say prayers of gratitude and sacrifice for your Lord, essentially everyone should know how to increase their gratitude, increase their servitude and share the blessings and knowledge that their Lord has given them. In fact, while the servant thanks the servant, he should know that it is my Lord who arranges this environment that enables that servant to do you a favour. When it comes to the goodness that comes to us from our Lord and the troubles that seem to be bad against us, we should be among the good people, knowing that only those who act with righteous deeds and those who live on the attitude and advice in favour of the Truth and patience will gain the good news from this trouble, which seems like a riddle that is instrumental in approaching His consent during its solution.
May Allah grant good news to all our brothers and sisters who are homesick for a child in the presence of the Dalkilic family. May our Lord grant our children good, fruitful and beautiful lives as good servants and sons to our one and only Lord, Islam, Ummah and Homeland.
